Sheriff's Report

Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported the following cases:

Dec. 28

Officer reported that an injured person left the emergency room at Emanuel Medical Center and did not give personnel his name.

AFowler Rd., Twin City man reported a woman, who was identified, entered his home without permission.

A McGarrh Mill Pond Rd. man reported someone used his identity to purchase a $4,000 vacuum cleaner.

A Hawhammock Church Rd. man reported his wife scratched him after an argument about an affair she was having with someone else.

Dec. 29

A man driving on Hwy. 80 E. reported a rock hit his windshield and damaged the vehicle.

A woman visiting her mother on Long Bay Dr. reported her she let the dog out in the yard and it was missing.

A man driving on Mt. Shady Church Rd. reported he fell asleep, hit a stump and turned over the truck.

A Modoc Center Rd. woman reported a man, who was identified, threatened to kill her dogs.

A woman driving on Church and S. Racetrack streets reported a woman, who was identified, pulled up behind her, got out of her car and threw an unknown object at victim's car.A

man driving on Sconyers Mill Rd. reported hitting a deer.

A Hawhammock Church Rd. woman reported her daughter-inlaw had left her child in her care but had returned intoxicated. Victim said she refused to return the child to the suspect, who then attacked her. DFCS was notified.

Dec. 30

Nickolas Benoco Howard, 24 Modoc Rd., Swainsboro, was arrested for suspended license.

A Forest Ranger Rd. man reported unknown suspects rode 4-wheelers on his property, and damaged his front and back doors.

Deputy was dispatched to Hwy. 192 N. to an intoxicated man lying in the middle of the road. Arrested for disorderly conduct was James Clifford Bray, 21, 1360 Hawhammock Church Rd., Swainsboro.

Dec. 31

A Lyons man brought three children to Emanuel County Jail and said he could not keep the children and the mother would not come and get them.

A Kersey Rd., Adrian man reported someone in a green truck has been damaging his property.

A Nunez-Lexsy Rd. woman reported her landlord broke the bedroom window. Defendant said victim owes him money.

A man driving on Hwy. 57 reported hitting a deer.

Jan. 1

A Garfield Villas, Garfield woman reported someone broke into her home and stole electronic items.

Deputy responded to a vehicle fire on Pine Needle Dr.

A Summertown Green St., Midville man reported he was bitten by a dog.

Jan. 2

Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on Hwy. 121 N.

A Blundale Church Rd. man reported someone rode around in a truck across grain fields and damaged the crops.

A woman driving on Scarboro Church Rd., Twin City reported a piece of metal came off another vehicle and damaged her car.

Jan. 3

An Oak Park Rd., Lyons woman reported she was bitten by a dog.

AW. 3rd Ave., Stillmore woman reported an unknown male stole several pieces of metal from her property.

Jan. 4

A McKenzie Dr. woman reported a man, who was identified, came onto her property, cursed her and called her names.

A McKenzie Dr. woman reported a man, whom she identified, hit her and threw her down to the ground.

A Kemp Rd. man reported two deer stands were missing from his property.

A Wheeler Dr. woman reported someone flattened all the tires on her vehicle and also scratched it.

Jan. 5

A woman driving on Hwy. 1 N. reported hitting a deer.

An Old Wadley Rd. man reported a woman, who was identified, took a nail gun without permission and pawned it.

Jan. 6

A Spivey Lane woman reported someone broke into her home.

A woman on N. James St. in Adrian reported someone broke windows on the house.

AHwy. 23 N., Twin City man reported his Kawasaki Mule was missing.

A Hawhammock Church Rd. man reported someone entered his residence and stole $3,000 in items.

Deputy reported an abandoned vehicle on W. McLeod Rd.

A Hwy. 1 N. man reported someone stole his Christmas decorations from his yard.

A Kudzu Trail, Twin City man reported someone stole his car tag.

Jan. 7

A Buckhill Dr., Dellwood man reported his 12-year-old daughter is receiving harassing cell phone calls.

A Powell Dr., Nunez woman reported someone broke into her trailer and stole $100 in items.
