Byrd scores 18 points for DEA

      Clifford Byrd tossed in 18 points as David Emanuel held off an upset minded Trinity Christian team 46-40 last Saturday in Dublin. With the win, DEA improved to 11-0 on the season and will face defending state champion Robert Toombs this Friday in Lyons in a big GISA region 2-A contest.

      Macy Fagler scored 21 points, pulled down nine rebounds and had six steals as the David Emanuel Academy Lady Eagles won their fourth straight game with a 63-31 win over Augusta Home School on December 30 in Stillmore. The win improves DEA's overall record to 6-2 on the season.
