Santa visits Airport

SANTA CLAUS AND FRIENDS AT AIRPORT

There was magic in the air recently when Santa made a special visit to Swainsboro and flew in to the Swainsboro/Emanuel County Airport. The trip was made especially to receive the Christmas lists from “good little boys and girls” all over Emanuel County.

Events included face painting, peppermint sticks giveaway, popcorn and hotdogs, while waiting for Santa to land. Santa arrived on time at 10:30 a.m. and spoke with each and every child by the Christmas tree in the airport lobby underneath a toy plane and helicopter flying overhead on the ceiling. He also posed for a photo with everyone.

Dabney Edenfield had her class of “elves” help Santa with the goodies, provided by Sasser Aviation and the city of Swainsboro.
