SHS varsity boys remain undefeated

Dec. 5

The Tigers traveled to Dublin to face the Irish. The boys pulled off a win, 56-54. Tony Mitchell scored in the double-digits with 14 points. Neal David helped his team by scoring 13 points.

The lady Tigers won a close game by one point. The final score was 52-51, Tigers. Paige Johnson shot into the 20’s and Jasmine Faulkner had 8 points.

Dec. 8

Wilkinson County hosted the Tigers. The Tiger boys outscored Wilkinson 99-97. Jamail Turner scored 32 points and Tony Mitchell scored 25 points. Byron Foots and Derrick Smith both scored 10 points.

Jade Neal led the lady Tigers in their win against Wilkinson County. The final score was Tigers 42 and Wilkinson 31. Paige Johnson scored 13 points and Tekiya Sherrod scored 9 points.

Dec. 9

The boys pulled off their last win of the week

against Laney. The Tigers won 79-62. Jamail Turner scored 26 points against the Wildcats. Neal David and Tony Mitchell both scored 13 points.

The Tiger girls played hard but could not pull out a win. The lady Tigers lost 70-46 against Laney. Tekiya Sherrod scored 18 points and Paige Johnson scored 8 points.
