Title 1 Distinguished Schools

Four local schools were recognized at the November Board of Education meeting for being named 2006 Title I Distinguished Schools. Participating in the recognition are Superintendent Butch Frye, Adrian School of Performing Arts Principal Karen Ross, Swainsboro Primary Acting Principal Valorie Watkins, Twin City Elementary Principal Jim Jarvis, Swainsboro Middle School Principal Eric Carlyle, and BOE Member Frank Ellis. This is the second time Twin City Elementary has received this honor and the sixth time for Swainsboro Primary.
