Support the Dixon project!

Our local Exchange Club is currently raising funds to name the new entrance road to East Georgia College after Dr. Madison Dixon. Dr. Dixon led a committee of community supporters that successfully brought the two year college to Swainsboro in the early 1970s.

Dixon’s contributions to the betterment of Emanuel County are immeasurable. We support the movement to have the entrance to the college named to honor Dr. Dixon and his long-time service to his community.
