'Tis the season!

A sure sign that the Christmas season is approaching is the annual project by Glad Garden Club to provide holiday decorations at Emanuel Medical Center. Members met recently to transform the hospital into a bright seasonal picture with trees, lights, wreaths, ornaments, and other evidences of Christmas. Two new projects have been added this year -- the outdoor area near the intensive care unit with its fountain and landscaping and the Emanuel Nursing Home. Chairman of the hospital decorating plans was Debbie Kersey. Directing the nursing home activity was Martha Jane Lawson. Helen Center, Glad Garden Club president, said, "We hope this project of the club will add to the pleasure of patients, staff and visitors to Emanuel Medical Center during this Christmas season."
