Great shows! Residents of Emanuel County provided lots of entertainment recently and we applaud all the efforts of those involved. Congratulations to Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce for its sponsorship of the "Carols on the Square" last Thursday. Many local adults and children showed up to hear traditional carols and to see Santa Claus. Emanuel Arts Council also put on a great show last Friday with its "Monologues, Music ,and More" program. Local musicians, poets and actors provided wonderful entertainment at the newly refurbished auditorium at Emanuel Arts Center. Stillmore held its annual Christmas Parade on Sunday and crowds braved chilly and wet weather to cheer on the many floats and participants. Looks like the holiday season is upon us and what a lovely season it is!
