Marshall to exhibit at Kalmanson

MARSHALL
Richard Marshall will be the artist for the month of December at the Kalmanson Gallery of Emanuel Arts Center. A reception will be held Sunday, Dec. 3 from 2-3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Marshall has been a potter since 1973. In 1974 he began to sell his clay work at small shows and at a local indoor market. "With greater exposure and experience I expanded my territory into other cities in NC, Georgia, Virginia,

and Florida," said Marshall. "I have been selling hand sculptured creatures and raku vases and wall pieces for 30 years now. My main market has always been street festivals that were free to the public, but I also include two indoor shows a year. I am an exhibiting member of two guilds: Carolina Designer Craftsmen of Raleigh, NC, and Carolina Clay Matters of Charlotte, N.C."
