Stillmore Roots member and East Georgia College art professor Bridget Conn was recently awarded an artist residency through the Hungarian

Multicultural Center in Budapest, Hungary. Conn was one of 15 artists chosen from an international pool based on her artistic merit.

She will spend two weeks starting in late December presenting her work at a seminar and creating more art there for a show that will take place in Budapest in July of 2007. "I look forward to sharing my experience abroad at home in Swainsboro," said Conn.

Conn is a member of a six-artist group in Swainsboro called Stillmore Roots Group.
