Tommy Whittington, 48 SWAINSBORO--Memorial service for Tommy Whittington, 48, was held Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at 11 a.m. the Watson- Odomville Cemetery in Adrian with Rev. Louis Pearce officiating. He died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Whittington was born in Emanuel County and had lived most of his life here. He was a nurse. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Essie Mae Whittington; a brother, Ray Whittington; a niece, Tonya Forbes; and a nephew, Greg Whittington. Survivors include a brother, Curtis Whittington of Dublin; two sisters, Debbie McDaniels of Swainsboro; and Martha Snyder of Tallahassee, Fla.; four nieces, Connie Toler, Denice Whittington, Becky Davis and Catina Mc- Daniel; three nephews, Jason Whittington, Allen McDaniel and Burt Snyder; and eight great-nieces and nephews. Tomlinson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
