Twin City News:
UMC fall festival great success
By Betty Turner Area Correspondent

The fall festival at the Twin City First Baptist Church was a great success. The children had fun playing in the bouncing toys, along with many other activities. We had cake walks for the children first and then for the adults. We had a lot of good food including chili, hot dogs, chips and dip and sweets of all kind. They also had a hay ride and roasted marshmallows. It was an evening of good fun.

The flowers placed in the Twin City United Methodist Church were in honor of our Angel "Gotcha" day, Nov. 12, 2003 by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jarvis and Jackie.

Dot and Tom Roe have had Dot's son Hugh Copelane, and two friends staying at the farm deer hunting, fishing and just doing what they want too. They were there for a week.

The flowers placed in the Twin City First Baptist Church were by Mary Ely in memory of Bob Ely.

Mary Ely and daughter Gail and Ed Lynsky, along with grandsons Kyle Lynsky and Alex Monarch, went recently to St. Louis, Mo. to Fort Lenardwood, for Adam Lynsky's graduation from training. They also visited the Gold Arch to the west. Lovely country leaves were turning in color. They had a real good time. They returned home and Adam came with them, he will be starting college in Jan.

When the Twin City First Baptist Church had their homecoming, loved ones who had passed since last year were recognized. Sorry we left out Robert Ely.

Twin City had a good turn out for the elections. Congratulations to all who won.
