After the election Congratulations to all candidates at all levels for participating in the election held last week. Win or lose, all candidates offered themselves for public service. We consider that to be a noble act. Also, we offer our congratulations to each person in Emanuel County who exercised their right to vote. The right to vote is arguably the greatest privilege we have as U.S. citizens. Each candidate has one more responsibility to us. We call on all candidates and their supporters to remove any and all signage used during the election process. The removal of all political signage is mandatory to complete a successful election.
